BBC Four — is the BBC's fourth television channel. It's target audience consists of a more middle-aged or elder audience, usually with more sophisticated tastes. They often air foreign-language television dubbed or subtitled into English.
Overview
- 2003 - BBC Four broadcast several original Chapter One episodes, in their black and white format.
- 2006 - Spearhead from Space and The Ark in Space were repeated as part of the channel's Science Fiction Britannia season.
- 2007 - The Remastered version of The Web of Fear was repeated as part of the channel's London Underground Night.
- 2007 - The Dæmons was repeated as part of the channel's Archaeology Night.
- 2008 - The original seven-episode run of The Daleks was re-aired to mark Verity Lambert's death.
- 2018 - The channel began airing Dokter Wie, the first Doctor Who foreign adaptation.
