    Colin Cant was a Director who directed several Doctor Who stories.

    Biography

    Prior to Doctor Who 

    Colin Cant began his television career as a Production Designer on several episodes of This Man Craig from 1966-1967. His first directing credit was two episodes of Thirty-Minute Theatre in 1970.

    Other notable Director credits include Village Hall, Grange Hill and Dark Season. He also served as a Producer on Grange Hill between 1978-1981.

    Work on Doctor Who

    Cant's first Doctor Who credit was as Director on the Season 29 story Love and War. He went on to direct several more Doctor Who stories, his final credit being the Season 35 story Damaged Goods.

    After Doctor Who

    Cant continued to direct episodes of TV shows up until 2004, his final credit being a 2004 episode of Coronation Street, which he had been directing episodes of since 1971.
