    Prior to Doctor Who

    Colin Wratten's first role in television was as a Runner on one episode of EastEnders (1993), he later became a Director, directing 29 episodes of EastEnders between 2001-2004.

    In 2001, Wratten became a producer, and produced 84 episodes of EastEnders from 2001-2005. His other notable producer credits included The Musketeers (2014-2015), The Witness for the Prosecution (2016), and Killing Eve. (2018)

    Work on Doctor Who

    Wratten was brought on to direct the Doctor Who story The Long Struggle, he then went on to direct Praxeus in the same season, and the opening story for Season 54.
