The following article is written from an Out of Universe perspective.

Donald Wilson (born 1 September 1910) was a British television writer and producer who, as Head of Serials in the BBC drama department under Sydney Newman, oversaw the creation and development of Doctor Who. He is therefore created as co-creator of the show, along with Newman and C. E. Webber.
