Never Mind the Rogue was the first story of Season 36 of Doctor Who. It was written by Nicholas Meyer, directed by Sandy Johnson and featured Michael French as the Doctor and Laurie Holden as Sammy Thompson.
This story is notable for being the first to feature the Rogue, played by Derek Jacobi.
Synopsis
The Doctor and Sammy are surprised when they receive an emergency transmission from another TARDIS. When the Doctor and Sammy board the other TARDIS they find that is has been under attack by nitrogen-based lifeforms.
The TARDIS is badly damaged and is in need of repairs so the Doctor, under the advice of The Rogue who owns the TARDIS, extends his TARDIS’s shield around the Rouge’s TARDIS.
They must save his TARDIS and track down the troublesome creatures who caused this whole mess before they destroy the Doctor’s TARDIS.
