Rivals was the first episode of Season 1 of Cold Front. It was written by Andrew Davies, directed by Chris Carter and featured Patrick Stewart reprising his roles as both Alfred Lawson and as Omega, as well as Jacqueline Pearce reprising her role as Angela Jensen with Paul Darrow returning as her husband, Sebastian.
Synopsis
It’s six weeks before the 2005 General Election, and incumbent Prime Minister, Alfred Lawson, is struggling to gain the support he needs to secure another victory for the Labour Party. While he fights for control over his country, he also fights, on a deeper level, for control over his own body.
