The Curse of the Tower was the first story of Season 40 of Doctor Who. It was written by Paul Cornell, directed by Sandy Johnson and featured Richard E. Grant as the Doctor and Anna Hope as Sandra Armstrong.
Synopsis
The Tower of London, England, 1483. A shadowy man arrived at the Tower that night and stole the Princes in line to the thrown. The Princes live on in mind for science claims their souls. The snatcher was thought to be King Richard III - instead it was someone far graver.
