    The Other was the eighth and final story of Season 40 of Doctor Who. It was written by Russell T Davies, directed by Sandy Johnson and featured Richard E. Grant as the Doctor and Anna Hope as Sandra Armstrong.

     Synopsis

    At the dawn of Gallifrey, many years ago, three men stood tall: Omega, Rassilon and the Other – also known as the Doctor.

    Now lifetimes later, the Doctor receives a call from Gallifrey, a call from a very old friend, Rassilon. Rassilon has returned and the Doctor must stop him before all of time is destroyed.
