What if Doctor Who Wasn't Axed?

    The Puppet Master (serial)

The following article is written from an Out of Universe perspective.

The Puppet Master was the first story of Season 37 of Doctor Who. It was written by Steven Moffat, directed by Sandy Johnson and featured Michael French as the Doctor, Laurie Holden as Sammy Thompson and Gillian Kearney as Lou Madison.

This is the first story for Lou Madison and the first to feature Murray Melvin as the Master.

    Synopsis

Lou Madison arrives for her first day at university, only to find something very odd. Everyone is not quite right, they speak almost like robots, and act so very strange. Lou even finds herself acting out of character. When the Doctor and Sammy arrive, Lou finally finds someone with a breath of normality, and it's then she realises just what is controlling the university.
