The Resistance were a rebellious organisation of citizens of the Gallifreyan Union who organised terrorist acts against the Gallifreyan Union in opposition to idea of their planets being controlled by Gallifrey and not their own leaders, independently.
Members of the Resistance were mainly Bellonsions but a large portion were their former enemy, the Poplne. However, every single race in the Gallifreyan Union had a least one member of the Resistance among them.
