War of the Poplne was the third episode of Season 41 of Doctor Who and the "Gallifrey Arc". It was written by Ronald D. Moore, directed by Winrich Kolbe and featured Anthony Head as the Doctor and Derek Jacobi as the Rogue.
Synopsis
The Doctor sends a party of The Rogue, Leela, K-9 and Francs to the front lines of the Poplne war against the peace-loving, turned warring, Bellonsion people to deliver the weapons. However the Rogue and Francs don’t make it to the front lines and instead end up on a deserted moon with four dying Poplne.
