    The 3453 Gallifreyan Presidential Election (in the calendar as used by the Alliance of Planets) took place on the 20 May 3453. Voters turned out to elect the Lord President and the Vice President of Gallifrey, in conjunction with a Panopticon Election, at the same time.

    Lord President Rogue, had been forced to resign in 3452, after the previous president, Gregori, was found, after vanishing in office, who claimed legitimacy to the office.     Due to the nature of the election evoking, no other candidates fought for the Cerulean nomination, as Gregori was granted this automatically as stated in The Worshipful and Ancient Law of Gallifrey.
