The 3453 Gallifreyan Presidential Election (in the calendar as used by the Alliance of Planets) took place on the 1 July 3453. Voters turned out to elect the Lord President and the Vice President of Gallifrey.
Lord President Rogue, had been forced to resign in 3452, after previous president, Gregori, was found, after vanishing in office, who claimed legitcimacy to the thrown. As part of this deal, it was agreed, an already due, election would be held the following year, with the main two candidates being the Rogue and Gregori, while Gregori himself took the office of Lord President in the time in between.

Cerulean Chapter
Gregori, Lord President of Gallifrey for two consecuative terms before his mysterious dissaperance many years prior. In 3452, he returned to Gallifrey and claimed the prescendency, serving the remainder of the 20-year term beginning in 3433.
Due to the nature of the election evocted, no other candiaties fought for the Cerulean nomination, as Gregori was granted this automatically as stated in the The Worshipful and Ancient Law of Gallifrey.
