What if Doctor Who Wasn't Axed?
The following article is written from an In Universe perspective.

The Lilliput was an aid ship owned by the organisation Earth Aid.

    History

The Lilliput was designed to carry food supplies to the part of the galaxy containing the planet in need, it would then wait for the Space Vessel Vancouver to arrive and would hand the shipment over to the Vancouver who would then guide the ship safely to the planet. (DW: Earth Aid)

At some point, the Lilliput was tasked with delivering a shipment of grain to the planet Safensthome. Unbeknownst to the crew, the Grub stowed away in the grain silo when they reached the galaxy containing Safensthome. The ship was soon attacked by a squadron of Metatraxi who wished to drag both it and the Vancouver to Safensthome and force the crews into their arena. They killed the entire crew, but spared Victor Espinosa who allowed some of them into the airlock, making it look like they'd been captured by sticking them to the celling. Some went down to the grain silo, but were glued to the walls by the Grub.

A boarding party led by Ace and Lt. Baraki soon came to investigate when getting no response from the Lilliput. The group soon met Victor and the Metatraxi.

A Metatraxi Battle Ship followed the Lilliput and attatched lines to it, dragging the ship away.

The Doctor soon discovered the Grub, but was convinced by them that the humanoid figures stuck to the walls of the silo were the crew.

After revealing his true intentions, Victor forced Baraki to wear a communications helmet and the ship arrived on Safensthome. (DW: Earth Aid)

    Technical Data

The Lilliput was capable of directly communicating with the Vancouver, it could also hold large silos of food suplies. (DW: Earth Aid)
