Victor Espinosa was an aid worker for the organisation Earth Aid. He worked on the Lilliput which was going to Safensthome, a planet suffering from famine. He was the surviving member of its crew and unbeknownst to everyone, was secretly working with the Metatraxi in order to gain money
Victor initially hid in the gym and was on the rowing machine when he met the Seventh Doctor, Ace and Lt. Baraki. He refused to tell them what had happened. Victor then lured the group to the weapons locker where he claimed the attack had started before grabbing a nearby weapon and firing at them before being knocked out by Ace.
He then locked himself in the sickbay, but eventually allowed Lt. Baraki and the Doctor in, due to the Doctor claiming he had a headache.
Victor later revealed his treachery to Lt. Baraki when she and her men entered the grain silo. They were ambushed by Metatraxi. Upon arriving on Sathensthome, he placed a headset on Lt. Baraki's head so that the planet could communicate with everyone. After dealing with the Metatraxi and Grub, Victor was arrested. (DW: Earth Aid)
