Michael Kerrigan (2 November1952-7 August 2014) was a Director who directed several Doctor Who stories.
Biography
Prior to Doctor Who
Michael Kerrigan's first TV credit was as Director on the TV Series Angels. Among his other directorial work was the ITV serial Knights of God, which was the final broadcast TV appearance of Patrick Troughton.
Work on Doctor Who
Kerrigan's first Director credit on Doctor Who was the Season 26 story Battlefield. He went on to direct three stories during the Richard Griffiths era, including The Hostage, The Legend of Merlin and The Prisoner of Time.
After Doctor Who
Kerrigan's other notable director credits included episodes of Mother Goose Stories, The Famous Five and The Basil Brush Show.
Personal Life
Kerrigan passed away on 7 August 2014.
