    The following article is written from an Out of Universe perspective.

    The Official Doctor Who Convention Anaheim 2019 (ODWC 2019) was the 7th annual ODWC and the 3rd to be held in the United States, the 2nd of which in Anaheim. The event, like in 2014, was held in the Anaheim Convention Center. Headlining the convention were incumbent and outgoing Doctor, Adjoa Andoh, and incoming Doctor, Ace Bhatti, making his first convention appearance.

    Panels

    22 November

    • 9am - The Three Doctors - Peter Davison, Colin Baker and Sylvester McCoy open the 7th Convention with a bang, as they recount the tails of playing the Doctor in the 1980s.
    • 10am - The Elysium - Mina Anwar, Sarah Winter, Toni Graphia and Jane Espenson on the Elysium Season 5.
    • 11am - Ira Steven Behr - The first Franchise Executive, and guiding hand behind the 50th Anniversary Celebrations, Ira Steven Behr, recounts his stories working on Who.
    • 1pm - Benny and the Guv - Husband and Wife duo, Lisa Bowerman and David Warner, talk about both of their times on Doctor Who, in a humous panel for all the family.
    • 2pm - Leftover - Julia Sawalha, Bonnie Langford and Katy Manning, alongside Leftover member, who never was, Janet Fielding, talk about Doctor Who's first proper spinoff series.
    • 3pm - Cold Front Girls! - The girls of Cold Front, Sigourney Weaver, Jessica Capshaw and Louise Jameson talk about their memories in the Doctor Who universe.
    • 4pm - Action Men! - Peter Purves, Mark Strickson and Frazer Hines talk about their time as male companions of the Doctor.
    • 5pm - The Script Editors - Robert Shearman, Andrew Cartmel, Eric Saward and Steven Moffat recount their time as Script Editor of Doctor Who.
    • 6pm - How to Speak Like a Monster - Nicholas Briggs, talks everyone through how he transforms vocally into dozens of different monsters for Doctor Who. Briggs also speaks about his other acting work in the show and his time writing and directing.
    • 7pm - Jane Espenson: Franchise Executive - Jane Espenson presents a panel solo, taking everyone through the upcoming plans for Doctor Who.
      • Samantha Bond, William Moseley and Montserrat Lombard made an unannounced appearance at this panel, as Espenson announced Doctor Who: Adventures to the world, alongside a sneak-peak of the character designs. They went onto attend the rest of the convention.

    23 November

    • 9am - Keeping Up with the Armstrongs - Anna Hope and Jessica Capshaw talk all thing Armstrong in this panel.
    • 10am - Vexed! - Sigourney Weaver and Brian Blessed talk all things Vex.
    • 11am - Sarah Dollard, Pete McTighe, Toby Whithouse, Simon Tyrrell, Simon Allen, David Hare, Toni Graphia talk about working on the current era of Doctor Who.
    • 1pm - Doctor Who - The main featured panel of the convention, looking at both Season 53 and the upcoming Season 54. Featuring panellists - Adjoa Andoh, Alex Jennings, David Thewlis, Adrian Hodges, Jane Espenson, Gaynor Holmes and Ace Bhatti.
    • 3pm - Grant's Girls - Anna Hope and Laurie Holden talk about their time on Doctor Who.
    • 4pm - The Master and The Rogue - David Thewlis and Geoffrey Beevers sit down to find out who's really the best, the Master or the Rogue?
    • 5pm - Winter and King - Sarah Winter and Shelley King have a gossip-filled chinwag about Season 51!
    • 6pm - David Tennant - An audience with everyone's favourite hero, and convalesce, David Tennant!
    • 7pm - The New Renegade - Anthony Head, Devika Parikh, Teddy Lane Jr., Chris Carter and Jane Espenson discuss the upcoming series, Doctor Who: The New Renegade.

    24 November

    • 9am - Twelve's Girls - Two companions of the Twelfth Doctor, Sophie Okonedo and Juliet Landau talk about their time on Doctor Who.
    • 10am - Philip Hinchcliffe - Former Doctor Who Producer, during the 1970s, Philip Hinchcliffe talks about the trials and tribulations of his premiership.
    • 11am - Andoh and Bhatti - The Fifteenth and Sixteenth Doctors meet each other, as they gossip about what's to come - and their favourite moments of Who's past.
    • 1pm - Panopticon - Featuring David Tennant, Juliet Landau, Louise Jameson, Sigourney Weaver, Brian Blessed, Tucker Smallwood, Ira Steven Behr and Jane Espenson.
      • This panel was supposedly stage invaded twice, firstly by Samantha Bond, as she made the point she was in Panopticon and should be included in the panel, and then some time later, by Ace Bhatti who humorously reminded everyone else he was in the show.
    • 2pm - Directing Doctor Who - Mick Jackson, Lee Haven Jones and Rachel Talalay talk about the process of directing Doctor Who.
    • 3pm - Samantha Bond - In a previously unscheduled panel, Samantha Bond appears talking about her time on Doctor Who.
    • 4pm - Seven, Ace and Katie - The 1990 TARDIS team reunite to talk about their time together on Doctor Who and each of their subsequent returns to the show.
    • 5pm - Chris Carter - The creator of both Cold Front and The New Renegade talks about his work in the Franchise.
    • 6pm - Closing Ceremony - With a private screening of Her Final Stand, Part One, to audience only, and all the guests coming on stage and performing little scenes and skits to end off the convention in style.
