The Official Doctor Who Convention Cyberspace 2020 (ODWC 2020) was the 8th annual ODWC and the first to be held virtually, through a YouTube livestream. Headlining the convention was the Sixteenth Doctor, Ace Bhatti. The event was scaled down, with 60-minute panels, before approximately 3-hours of Doctor Who TV or Film content was aired on the livestream, when afterwards another panel followed - between the ending of these episodes, and the beginning of the next panel, the trailer for The Last Supper was repeated. Unlike other ODWC's, the panels were the only aspect of the convention, lacking autograph signings, photoshoots or any other extras. The convention followed GMT, as with the conventions hosted in the UK. Most of the panels were done in a studio at BBC Scotland, filmed with plexiglass in-between guests - some were recorded remotely.

• 9am - The 60s! - Peter Purves, Carole Ann Ford, Frazer Hines and Wendy Padbury talk about Doctor Who in its early years.
• 10am - YOUTUBE BROADCAST: Doctor Who: Remastered - An Unearthly Child, with introduction by Carole Ann Ford.
• 11am - YOUTUBE BROADCAST: Doctor Who: Remastered - The Mind Robber, with introduction by Frazer Hines and Wendy Padbury
• 12pm - YOUTUBE BROADCAST: Doctor Who: The New Renegade - The Reckoning, Part I, with introduction by Anthony Head.
• 1pm - Doctor Who: The New Renegade - Anthony Head, Devika Parikh, Teddy Lane Jr., Chris Carter, Jane Espenson and Mal Young talk about Doctor Who: The New Renegade and the upcoming second season, including a short teaser trailer.
  • Anthony Head, Devika Parikh, Teddy Lane Jr., Chris Carter were broadcasting from a studio in Los Angeles, whereas Jane Espenson and Mal Young were broadcasting from Glasgow.
• 2pm - YOUTUBE BROADCAST: Panopticon - Slipping Through My Fingers, with introduction by Louise Jameson.
• 3pm - YOUTUBE BROADCAST: Doctor Who - The Ties In Between Us, with introduction by Juliet Landau.
• 5pm - Doctor Who VII - Paterson Joseph, Felicity Jones, Gillian Anderson, Jeffrey Chernov, Rachel Talalay and Mal Young talk about the upcoming Paramount+ original movie, and get ready to reveal it's long-awaited title.
• 6pm - YOTUBE BROADCAST: Doctor Who - Until the World Ends, with introduction by Paterson Joseph.
• 7:50pm - Paterson Joseph, Anthony Head and Carole Ann Ford finish off the evening, with a short ten minute panel.

28 November

• 9am - The 50th Anniversary Years - Ira Steven Behr and Ronald D. Moore, two former Franchise Executives, reunite to talk about their efforts running Doctor Who during the 50th Anniversary celebrations and beyond.
  • This panel was broadcast live from a studio in Los Angeles.

• 10am - YOUTUBE BROADCAST: Doctor Who: Endgame, with introduction by Ira Steven Behr.
• 12:30pm - YOUTUBE BROADCAST: Doctor Who: Adventures - The Dalek Invasion of Sussex, with introduction by Samantha Bond.
• 1pm - Doctor Who: Adventures - Samantha Bond, Montserrat Lombard, William Moseley, Toni Graphia, Phil Ford and Mal Young talk about Doctor Who: Adventures and the upcoming second season, while they also release a trailer.
• 2pm - YOUTUBE BROADCAST: Cold Front - Rivals, with introduction by Chris Carter.
• 3:30pm - YOUTUBE BROADCAST: Doctor Who - The Silurian Awakening, with introduction by Ira Steven Behr.
• 5pm - The Prime Ministers - Hugh Quarshie and Caroline Quentin "face off" as they talk about appearing as the Prime Minister on Doctor Who, as well as remembering Jacqueline Pearce's portrayal of Angela Jensen.
  • The panel had a surprise appearance by David Thewlis, who mentioned that he became Prime Minister in Her Final Stand, and joins them for the rest of the panel.
• 6pm - YOUTUBE BROADCAST: Doctor Who - Her Final Stand, Part One, with introduction by David Thewlis.
• 7pm - YOUTUBE BROADCAST: Doctor Who - Never Mind the Rogue, Part One, with introduction by David Thewlis.
• 7:45pm Samantha Bond, David Thewlis and Mal Young finish off the evening, with a short 15 minute panel.

29 November

• 9am - Mal Young - Doctor Who's newest Franchise Executive talks about joining the franchise and his first few months in the role, as well as the plans ahead.
• 10am - YOUTUBE BROADCAST: Doctor Who (2003), with introduction by Anthony Head.
• 12:30pm - YOUTUBE BROADCAST: Doctor Who: Adventures - Something Borrowed, with introduction by Montserrat Lombard.
• 1pm - Ace Bhatti - The Sixteenth Doctor himself, talks about his first year in the role and what's still to come.
• 2pm - YOUTUBE BROADCAST: Doctor Who: Revelation, with introduction by Anthony Head.
• 4:15pm - YOUTUBE BROADCAST: Doctor Who: Vengeance, with introduction by Paterson Joseph.
• 6:25pm - LIVE YOUTUBE BROADCAST: Doctor Who: The Last Supper, with introduction by Ace Bhatti.
  • This was streamed live on YouTube, as it was broadcast on BBC One. It was available everywhere but the UK, where the screen read "Please turn over to BBC One or BBC iPlayer to view".
• 7:15pm - Doctor Who - following the broadcast of Doctor Who's latest episode, Ace Bhatti, Jayd Johnson, Alex Jennings, David Thewlis, Adrian Hodges, Jane Espenson and Mal Young talk about the episode, the past season and the upcoming season.
  • While ODWC's traditionally finished with a closing ceremony, this one didn't, although the main Doctor Who panel incorporated some of the elements of the traditional closing ceremony.
