In 1931, the Doctor, Sammy and Lou defeat the deadly Visvinne, however, as they do so, they discover Lou’s Great Grandfather was injured, and subsequently contracted septicaemia. Unknowing this man is Frank Madison, the trio leave and return to the present, only to find that Lou never existed. Only hanging by a thread, they venture back in time, to prevent Frank’s death, however, to do so, history must be altered in a very significant way, and it’s all up to Lou Madison. |

The Forbidden Fruit was the third story of Season 37 of Doctor Who. It was written by Mark Gatiss, directed by Brian Grant and featured Michael French as the Doctor, Laurie Holden as Sammy Thompson and Gillian Kearney as Lou Madison.
Synopsis
In 1931, the Doctor, Sammy and Lou defeat the deadly Visvinne, however, as they do so, they discover Lou’s Great Grandfather was injured, and subsequently contracted septicaemia. Unknowing this man is Frank Madison, the trio leave and return to the present, only to find that Lou never existed.
