The Monastery was the fourth episode of Season 1 of Doctor Who: The New Renegade. It was written by Jane Espenson, directed by Douglas Aarniokoski, and featured Anthony Head as the Doctor, Devika Parikh as Emma Lewis and Teddy Lane Jr. as Dustin Barnett.
Synopsis
On the request of Burne, the TARDIS crew arrive at the oldest known Monastery in human history, in an attempt to find out just what exactly caused their worship, and whether it was constructed by the higher alien being that the Doctor is searching for.
