Daniel Bevin was a Space Security Service Agent and brief companion of the Fifteenth Doctor before he sacrificed his life to keep the peace between the human colonists and the Ice Warriors on Mars.
Biography
After many martian colonists were killed by being exposed to Mars's atmosphere tensions between the humans and Ice Warriors boiled over. Daniel decided to find the Doctor for help and so teleported into the TARDIS where he met the Fifteenth Doctor and explained the situation to her. (DW: False Prophets, The Martian Equinox)
Daniel eventually discovered along with the Doctor that the Master had been the one causing tensions between the humans and Ice Warriors and that the Chief Ice Warrior was an Anti-Earth bigot who had initiated the attack. Daniel eventually managed to make peace between the humans and Ice Warriors and sacrificed his life to kill the Chief Ice Warrior. (DW: The Martian Equinox)
