    Ian Fraser was first a production manager on Doctor Who before taking over as production from 1991-93.

    Biography

    Prior to Doctor Who

    Ian Fraser initially worked as a Production Assistant on two episodes of the Omega Factor, and one episode of Play for Today.

    He later served as Production Manager on the BBC series Juliet Bravo.

    Work on Doctor Who

    Ian Fraser worked as the Production Manager for the Doctor Who stories Terror of the Vervoids, The Ultimate Foe, Paradise Towers, Remembrance of the Daleks, The Greatest Show in the Galaxy and The Curse of Fenric.

    He had an uncredited acting role as a tourist in the Season 25 story Silver Nemesis.

    Fraser was then chosen by the BBC to be the next Producer after John Nathan-Turner stepped down. Fraser was responsible for giving the show a new logo and continuing the Cartmel Master Plan.

    Fraser stayed on as producer until 1993 where he was replaced with Stephen Garwood.

    After Doctor Who

    Fraser also worked as a Production Manager on Bergerac and Performance.

    Personal Life

    He was married to Fiona Cumming. (DWMSE 48)

    Fraser passed away in 2016.
