Background Information
Development
- To be added.
Production
- The newly recorded footage was the first to be filmed in this season, months in advance of the rest, during filming of the Series 2 Panopticon episode The Dice Has Been Cast. It was especially helpful as much of the main cast from the spin-off appeared in this episode as well.
Reaction
- This episode received a 7-Day Viewing Figure from BARB of 8.82m viewers. It ranked at 6th over the week.
- Reception to this episode was overwhelmingly positive; some considering it as a fan-favourite, exclaiming that it explores the consequences of past adventures and gives viewers more insight into Trust Is A Lie.
Story Notes
- This marked the first story with more than one Doctor (with new material) not to be counted as a multi-Doctor story.
Continuity
- The story is a sequel to Trust is a Lie in which it featured 25% stock footage and 75% newly recorded footage. It was done to prevent a similar backlash to that of Season 39's The Name's Shakespeare William Shakespeare.
