    Leftover was a Doctor Who television spin-off series. It was produced by BBC North, BBC Worldwide and Paramount Television, with the majority of the production taking place in Newcastle. The fourth season of the show was produced in America by Paramount Television.

    The main cast included Julia Sawalha, Elisabeth Sladen, Katy Manning, Caroline John, Laurie Holden and Robert Duncan McNeill.

    Leftover revolves around four of the Doctor's previous companions who come together and start a private investigative agency for cases involving the extraterrestrial.

    Aborted Ideas

    Leftover: Season 5

    • Before Paramount announced that the show would be cancelled after Season 4, there were ideas forming for a fifth season of the show, however, the cancellation of the series halted these plans. It was later revealed in Doctor Who Magazine 378, that the story arc for Season 5 would have focused on the Master played by Geoffrey Bayldon.
