Mal Young (born 26 January 1957) is a British television producer, screenwriter and executive producer. In 2020, he was appointed as the 4th Executive of the Doctor Who Franchise. He had previously been Head of Drama at BBC Television between 1997 and 2000, and fulfilled a similar position to his eventual role as Franchise Executive, in overseeing the franchise above executive producer, David Renwick.
