Meena Patel was the captain of the Obliterator, one of the main warships in the Gaian Empire. She was one of the Governor's personal prodigies.
Biography
In 3289 Meena was given a mission to quash the main sector of the Gaian resistance. She led a platoon of Gaians in a takeover of the planet Erstden so that it could be stripped of its resources, she had also traced the Gaian resistance to the planet. She became aquatinted with the Fifteenth Doctor who was undercover as a Gaian Lieutenant.
When the Flood began taking over the planet, Patel led her taskforce in a battle against them. Patel herself eventually became infected by The Flood, but was shot dead by Sam Reynolds, the leader of the Gaian resistance. (DW: The Doomsday Cannon)
