Revision as of 21:54, 12 August 2021 by TimeLordMaster108 (talk | contribs) (→‎Biography: Adding info on The Last Supper.)

The following article is written from an In Universe perspective.

The Sixteenth Doctor was the third incarnation in the Doctor's second regeneration cycle. The Doctor, after his first adventure, began travelling with Chrissie Finch and later in his life was reunited with Bertie Reynolds, who joined him and Chrissie on their travels.

    Biography

    Post-Regeneration

The Sixteenth Doctor came into life, after the Fifteenth regenerated in the TARDIS. (DW: Her Final Stand) Soon after, the Doctor managed to cause the TARDIS to crash land in Alba on the 27th July, 1054, and soon he became involved in the English invasion of Scotland and the Battle of Dusinane. During this, the Doctor was taken prisoner by the English army and befriended Chrissie Finch, the Scottish wife of an innkeeper who was also a prisoner.

The Doctor and Chrissie soon escaped and soon noticed a smoky path leading into the woods, which they followed. The two soon came across a little girl whom the Doctor realised wasn't supposed to be there, he then explained to Chrissie who he was.

He and Chrissie were then suddenly sent back to when the Doctor first arrived, leading them to experience the same events four times before finding themselves in a cave full of witch's and the little girl who explained that Macbeth must fall.

The Doctor realised that time had broken down, and after taking Chrissie to see a performance of the play Macbeth in the 17th Century, realised that time was breaking down and that time's natural healer was trying to fix it by using the emotional imprints of people's reaction to the play, believing it to be the real version of events. The Doctor, with help from Chrissie, prevented Macbeth from being slain by Macduff who had been animated into existence, thus fixing time. Afterwards, Chrissie asked the Doctor if she could come with him and he accepted. (DW: The Screams of Terror)

    Travels with Chrissie

For Chrissie's first trip, the Doctor decided to use the randomiser, after Chrissie said that she felt overwhelmed and was unsure where she wanted to go first. The Doctor and Chrissie arrived on Earth in 2120, and began investigating an explosion, which many people believed was caused by the God Vajahnari, who the Doctor didn't believe in. After befriending a young girl named Robbie, who was the only person in the village not to believe in Vajahnari, the Doctor, Chrissie and Robbie confronted Simone, the leader of the community. After another explosion killed two more residents, the Doctor helped Robbie convince most of the residents that Vajahnari was a lie, causing them to turn their backs on Simone. The Doctor, Chrissie, Robbie and Simone were suddenly transported away, and soon found themselves in the domain of Vajahnari, who was indeed real. (DW: Vajahnari's Curse)

Vajahnari asked for the Doctor, Chrissie and Robbie's help in saving the universe, which had become disrupted due to some force leaving it, forcing the universe to try and fix itself, which was causing paradoxes, such as Vajhnari to come into existence. The Doctor agreed to help due to his existence also being a paradox, meaning that he would soon be 'put into retirement' along with Vajhnari.

Vajahnari sent the Doctor, Chrissie and Robbie to find their own disciples to help anchor the universe. The Doctor arrived on a planet, but was soon caught by some guards who were hunting for Time Lords. The Doctor was rescued by an alternate version of the Keeper, who turned out to be one of the disciples. The Doctor returned to Vajahnari's realm with the Keeper, and after Chrissie and Robbie returned with the other two disciples, Vajahnari used them to anchor the universe. The Doctor soon left with Chrissie and Robbie, returning the later to her home. (DW: Countdown)

Some time later, the Doctor and Chrissie arrived on a ship in 1507, where they were quickly imprisoned as stowaways. The Doctor and Chrissie learned that they were on board 'The New World' and that the voyage to the new world was being led by Amerigo Vespucci and Juan De La Cosa, who both claimed this was their sixth voyage, which made the Doctor suspicious as history only recorded four.

The Doctor and Chrissie soon helped investigate when members of the crew began dying. The Doctor soon discovered that a time hopping creature known as Vlienex was responsible and that it was feeding off of temporal disruption, the Doctor, with help from Chrissie eventually defeated it. The Doctor and Chrissie attempted to depart in the TARDIS, but the ship docked at a harbour on the fourth continent, and the Doctor, along with Chrissie and the surviving members of the crew were all arrested (DW: The Age of Discovery)

The Doctor and Chrissie were part of the trial of Vespucci's crew and eventually proved their innocence. The two began investigating why this voyage became forgotten by history, eventually coming to the conclusion that the three disciples were failing to anchor the universe. The Doctor and Chrissie departed in the TARDIS. (DW: The Fourth Continent)

    Reuniting with Bertie

The Doctor took Chrissie to see modern day London, but they soon became distracted when people began receiving texts telling them how many days they had left to live, the Doctor worked with UNIT to figure out the source of these messages, also learning that many people had killed themselves, leading to a pre-destination paradox.

While Chrissie went to get some air, the Doctor worked with Wilson to triangulate the source of the SMS messages, eventually tracking the source to a space station, twenty-four lightyears away from Earth. The Doctor, Wilson and a squadron of UNIT soldiers took the TARDIS arrived on the space station, where the Doctor was reunited with the Rogue, who had been contacted by an alternate version of himself, and knew that time was falling apart.
