    In [[2004]] Winifred met both the [[Ninth Doctor]] and [[Janet Wells]] and asked for their help in investigating the disappearance of [[Marc Marshall|a teenager]] and a Policewoman who kept drawing cave paintings on the wall after she had went to investigate the boy's disappearance. When both the Doctor and Janet had disappeared, Bambera brought troops with her to [[Smallmarshes]] in [[Kent]], where a [[Silurians|Silurian]] was seen, to find them. Later, after returning to HQ, Bambera received a report that the Doctor, a Silurian, and the missing teenager Marc Marshall had been taken aboard a stealth plane. A group of UNIT troops led by Bambera followed the aircraft to [[the Vault]] in [[Northumberland]]. The Doctor and Janet, along with the Silurian hybrid [[Tahni]], were rescued and [[The Pale Man|the Pale Man's]] plans to conquer the world were stopped, but the Pale Man had escaped capture and Marc's heart gave out.     In [[2007]] Bambera learned that a group of Silurians had awoken and were demanding their planet back. Bambera attempted to help the Prime Minister [[Angela Jensen]] come to an agreement with the Silurians, but both sides refused to make any kind of agreement, causing Bambera to summon the Doctor for help.     Later on Bambera was contacted by the Doctor who informed her that the village of [[Lancashire]] had been invaded by the [[Shalka]]. Bambera arrived with several UNIT troops and helped to evacuate the village. She later helped capture a Shalka. Bambera informed the Doctor that none of the evacuees had arrived at the intended destination, but had iinstead arrived in the middle of nowhere. Bambera told the Doctor about the captured Shalka.     * Bambera was originally going to appear in [[Doctor Who: Until the World Ends|''Doctor Who: Until the World Ends'']], but was replaced by [[Caitrin Ryan]].
    Later on when a missile from an intergalactic war accidentally struck [[Earth]], Bambera and UNIT were called in to help investigate and to prep for a potential war with an alien race or another country.     When everyone in the world was made immortal, Bambera contacted Katie Tollinger and asked her and the rest of Leftover to come to London to help figure out what had happened. She later met with Angela Jensen and explained that she had summoned the Leftover team. Winifred later met Katie and Liz Shaw after they'd snuck into 10 Downing Street and confirmed their identities to Angela. Winifred sent UNIT troops to go pick up Jo, Sarah Jane and Mel from [[Los Angeles]]. Winifred later sent in troops to arrest Daniel F. Harvey, the American President. Once it was discovered that both he and Henrick were working with the Mitahi, Bambera along with Katie interrogated Henrick.
