Mad World was the tenth and final episode of Season 46 of Doctor Who. It was written by Robert Shearman, directed by Billy Gierhart and featured Paterson Joseph as the Twelfth Doctor, Sophie Okonedo as Lizzie Clarke as well as Jacqueline Pearce, Timothy Dalton, Julia Sawalha, Elisabeth Sladen, Katy Manning, Caroline John, Laurie Holden, Clare Higgins, Angela Bruce and Paul Darrow all reprising their respective roles.
Synopsis
The Rogue visits Karn where he meets an ancient soothsayer, who tricks him into changing history based upon one question: “What if the Doctor was still President of Gallifrey?”
Without the Doctor returning to Earth, the whole world fell into ruins and now a simple refugee, Lizzie Clarke is the only one who can undo the damage. But how?
