Cannon Fodder was the first episode of Season 46 of Doctor Who. It was written by David Hare, directed by Keith Boak and featured Paterson Joseph as the Twelfth Doctor, Sophie Okonedo as Lizzie Clarke as well as Jacqueline Pearce reprising her role as Angela Jensen and Angela Bruce reprising her role as Major General Winifred Bambera.
Synopsis
Far away across the universe, a missile is fired in a war between two powerful civilisations. However, many years later, that missile reaches Earth and kills 5,000 people. Now UNIT ask the help of the Doctor, to find out who did this and if necessary prepare for war. But will the possibility of this being a simple mistake ever be considered?
